Module 5 · Lesson 1 of 5

Goals and Systems

Card 1 of 6

“Everything is Created twice, one in mind then in reality”

Goals (1st Creation)

Setting goals is a crucial part of an insurance advisor. Goals provide direction, motivation, and a clear sense of purpose. They can be categorized into three main types:

Doable Goals

Doable goals are those that are already within reach of your current knowledge, skills, and experience. These goals are achievable even without requiring significant changes or efforts.

Stretch Goals

Stretch goals push you to operate at the boundary of your current capabilities. While still attainable, they require you to go beyond your comfort zone and extend your abilities. These goals are challenging yet achievable with effort and dedication.

Moonshot Goals

Moonshot goals are ambitious, often seeming unattainable. They lie far beyond your current capabilities. Despite given so much effort, achieving these goals may not always be possible. What you can’t, God can.

Systems (2nd Creation)

Systems are the processes and routines that lead you to your desired results. They are the daily actions and habits that, when consistently followed, create a path to achieving your goals. As James Clear said in his book “You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems”

One big idea

Goals and Systems

Goals are for direction, systems is for making progress.
